The story is about a young man with several failed relationships named Macky Galvez (John Lloyd Cruz) who accidentally falls in love with a liberated, modern day woman, Ces Bricenio (Angel Locsin) who is afraid of falling in love and getting involved in a relationship .
Their journey began on their first meeting in Boracay, where they both got drunk and had a hot and sexy one night stand. When Macky woke up, Ces was gone and he was left alone in the beach. A few days after, John Lloyd was hired in a newspaper company, where Ces is currently working. Ces became Macky's writing instructor and because of that they constantly hang out with each other, having enough time to make love with each other. The title itself defines their relationship, strictly no commitment, no hassels, no explanations, no involvements, just pure sex and making love. They both enjoy making love with each other, it is their means of satisfaction, that release Ces from all the emotional and mental strain that her family and work gives her. Macky agreed on their condition because he felt that at least, even as a part time lover he could be a part of Ces' world. Macky simply understood the definition of love and most of the time he sacrifices everything just to prove his love.

On the contrary, Ces is hard hearted, insensitive, yet a loving and responsible daughter and sister. While Ces continues to pretend that she's unaware of Macky's true feelings, Macky never fails to prove his love and make Ces happy. Macky serenades and sings for her. He waits for her to finish work and brings her home. He follows her instructions and kept in mind her advices. Macky assures Ces that he is willing to wait until the time she is ready to commit herself. Macky's writing career became a success and Ces was really proud to be his mentor. He introduced Ces to his family and visited Ces' home so he could meet Ces' family. During Macky's introduction to Ces' family, Ces received a phone call from Singapore and was told by a friend that finally she got the job she'd been waiting for. Macky felt sad but he is willing to sacrifice his happiness for Ces' happiness, to fulfill her dreams by working in Singapore.

This is the climax of the story where Macky pushes her to go abroad and Ces got angry for she knew, she had already fallen in love with Macky. She was mad because Macky was still nice with her even if he knew she was leaving. She began to reveal her past and why she's so afraid to fall in love. She told him about her relationship before, that took 5 years of her life and left her helpless and empty. 5 years ago she had an offer in Singapore which should have changed her life if she pursued it instead of giving in to his boyfriend, who made her live in Cebu then left her for a job offer in New York right after the accident that made Ces unable to walk. She began to cry remembering how she left her work, friends and family for his boyfriend, believing that what she felt was true love. She was left helpless, nowhere to go and depressed. During those moment, she felt betrayed and she never thought that she could regain her strength back. That's the main reason why she was afraid to love again. She was so afraid of losing herself again and losing the offer abroad just because of love.
Now that Ces is facing the same situation, she admits to Macky that it's not possible for her to love and get hurt again. Macky ended it by saying that he is willing to wait for that moment wherein she could trust again and promised that he won't leave her. The following day, Macky was assigned to interview one of the most successful architect in the Philippines and he was surprised to found out that his interviewee is Ces' ex-boyfriend. The bachelor told him that there was this girl whom he had almost married but because of the accident it had made him realize that it was a sign given to him for him to end their relationship and start a new life. Out of his anger, Macky punched the young architect and got suspended because of the incident. Ces asked Macky why he had done such thing and told him nothing can change what had happened, Macky answered that he just want to get even.
A few days after, Ces was confronted by her mom, the moment that the later saw her crying. Her mom told her that she should not get tired of getting hurt,and stated that, how will you be able to meet the one who will return your love if every time you fall, you would just give up. At the office, when she was about to leave, her coworker surprised her and made a despedida for her, but what surprised her most and made her cry was seeing Macky's newspaper write up about her, entitled, The girl worth fighting for. She then realized that Macky really loved her and after awhile found herself inside Macky's condo unit serenading Macky with his friends with the song entitled " Ikaw lang ang aking mahal".
The story ended with Ces asking if Macky still want Ces to be his girlfriend, that she would make up for all the hurt she had caused him and they continued to live their life happily 'IN LOVE' with each other....
The movie evolves primarily on how a one night stand turns two strangers to fall madly in love with each other. Sometimes we tend to see sex as a result of falling in love. It is done by couples with the main reason that they are in love. But this story turns out to be different. They started making love without the full knowledge of who they're partner was. It's out of curiosity, and it's out of lust but at the end they found themselves in love with each other. Maybe most of us would think that its not possible but all of those who are in love dreams of having sex with the one they love at the same time and those dreams were fulfilled, so I think it is also possible of how a one night stand turns out to be love after all, right? Ces pretended that she wasn't in love because she was afraid of getting hurt. Most of the time it's hard for us to accept the mistakes and failures that we had done and it's really hard for us to forget it. But all the bad things that had done to us, failures and bad experiences teaches us lessons that we should be kept in mind. Lessons such as, we should not live in the past, not be afraid to commit the same mistakes. It is through learning that we grow. It changes us and makes us a better person. I agree that we should not stop loving, not get tired of being in love because if you get tired you might lose the chance of having that someone who's really meant for you. If Ces weren't able to open up her mind for the fear of getting hurt again, she might have lost the chance of having that one person who will prove to her that love is really worth fighting for. I myself had closed my door until someone who's extremely patient and God fearing opened it. I fell in love, and accepted the consequences of love. Minsan ang mali nagiging tama pag pinaninindigan... That's why I decided to continue loving this person. And I believe that this person is worth loving and worth waiting for. 'Cause he too had waited for so many years, praying not just to have me but to experience love and be loved in return. It took me years to find him again. And I never thought that I would see him again. Sometimes when were hurt by someone, we realize how important that person is because of the impact of the hurt that we felt.Not all the bad things done to us hurts us, what affects us the most is those things done to us by someone who is important and who we love the most. I was once hurt, but I am not afraid to get hurt by that person again, for I love him and I accept that getting hurt is a part of being in love. I love him and I accept his weaknesses. But if he hurts me again, I will assure him that he's not gonna be forgiven,I will hide from him so he won't find me if in case he'll have time to search for me...
